Sea Otter

It was my friend's birthday recently, and she loves otters, so I drew her this. I hardly ever use pencil, so it was quite a change for me.

I definitely would like a pet otter now please.

Beauty and The Beast

I recently entered Waterstone's 'Picture This' storybook illustration competition.

You had to send them one full colour, double page spread and some character sketches.... So here they are.

For the spread, I chose the scene where the Beast is getting ready to have dinner with Belle. He's not sure what to wear.

Booth Museum

I visited the Booth Museum today in Brighton. It is full of stuffed birds and animals, insect and butterfly collections all in glass cages. Its good for reference drawing, quite weirdly brilliant.
